VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY Help Clean Up The Shawsheen River On May 18

first_imgWILMINGTON, MA — The Shawsheen River Watershed Association is holding a River Clean-Up Day on Saturday, May 18, 2019, from 9am to 2pm.Instructions: At the end of Grace Drive in Wilmington, you will see signage for town land. The kayak put-in is several feet into the woods. We will paddle upstream to what remains of the Middlesex Canal aqueducts to create navigable space in areas with downed trees. Wear appropriate clothing. Helpful items: gloves, small hand saws, loppers.
